Privacy Policy

The short version

No account. We don't collect your name, email or anything you type.
Your progress, streak and settings are stored only on your phone.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device and usage information to show and measure ads. You choose whether apps can track you, and you can remove ads with a one-time purchase.

This policy covers the Tilt & Sink iPhone app and this website. Tilt & Sink is made by Lexter Lavin ("we"). If you have a question, email scoozienavarro@gmail.com.

What stays on your phone

Your game progress. Daily results, your streak, practice level and stars are saved on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Puzzles. Every puzzle is generated on your phone from the date, so the app doesn't need to contact a server to play.
Reminders. If you turn on daily reminders, they are scheduled on your phone by iOS. We don't run a notification server and don't receive any token or identifier for them.

Ads (free version)

The free version shows ads between practice levels and an optional ad when you ask for a hint. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect:

Device information, such as the device model, operating system version and IP address (which can indicate your approximate location).
Your device's advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
Information about ads you see and tap, and basic app usage and diagnostic information.

Google handles this information under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages.

Your choices

Tracking. iOS asks whether Tilt & Sink may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier isn't shared and ads are less personalised. You can change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. If you are in these regions, the app shows Google's consent message before any ads are requested, and respects your choice.
Remove ads. The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase turns off all ads straight away, and the ads software is no longer started when you open the app.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We don't receive your payment details or Apple ID; the app only learns whether "Remove Ads" has been bought.

Children

Tilt & Sink is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
